Coke Gearing complete sale of rare 2.5-acre Witham site

Paul Fitch of Coke Gearing Consulting is delighted to have advised Galliard Homes in respect of the site sale to Chancerygate Developments Limited.

The site, originally home to the Two Sisters Food Group, was purchased by Galliard in 2019.  Since that point, an outline planning consent has been achieved for a trade unit and warehouse scheme, but in the intervening period the substantial existing buildings on site were let, rent free, by Galliard Homes to Essex County Council for emergency storage use during the Covid pandemic.

Chancerygate Developments are re-drafting the planning layout pending a final decision, but can accommodate a bespoke building for occupiers, freehold or leasehold, up to circa. 45,000 sq ft.

Coke Gearing Consulting have been retained by Chancerygate Developments as agents for the ongoing scheme.
